Greycaps India Private Limited, is today India's largest On Stage quizzing and knowledge services with prominent presence in India, the Middle East, Singapore, Sri Lanka, UK and the US.
We have, since 1999, successfully adopted and implemented quizzing and other events as an alternative tool for education in India to enhance and sustain awareness and interest levels related to happenings across the world, aided by appropriate technology. These tools have been a huge success both in urban and rural areas of India to deliver knowledge and enhance confidence levels of youth. Founded by noted quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam aka Pickbrain, Greycaps has come a long way since its inception.
OUR HISTORY
Greycaps had its humble beginning when a bunch of young quizzers came together to chance the way quiz shows were conducted. This passion led to the creation of Quizine that organised quiz shows largely on weekends during 1996-97.
This passion slowly grew and became a full time profession when quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam decided to quit Walt Disney to create what was then India's biggest quizzing portal 'quizbrain'. A few years later this transformed into Greycaps.
What makes Greycaps unique is the fact that we have achieved this growth and deployed the concepts built on the Gandhian philosophy of "self sustained business enterprise model", without the support of any Venture Capital. Today, we are pioneering what we call the 'Grey Revolution'.
