Backdrop to Leadership Guild
• Greycaps India believes that the key to becoming a great leader starts at an early age. Today the world needs leaders in all fields. Our children are our future.
• Greycaps has contributed to partnering/building leadership platforms from B-schools like NSHM, Kolkata and Corporate clients such as Infosys over the past few years. These efforts have been met with great appreciation.
Eligibility of student participants
This workshop is meant for 10 student leaders nominated by the school; to be identified on the basis of them being role models for the Junior Kids holding a leadership responsibility in academics, sports or co-curricular activities.
Content & Format of the workshop
The unique part about the leadership workshop is that students will inculcate the spirit of leadership in a transformational route through inspirational lectures modeled on current leaders across the globe with virtues. We extend beyond the horizon of talking about leadership to inculcating the value of 'Being the Change that Leads.'
About Leadership Guild 09
The first ever Leadership Guild was held on 16th July 2009 in Bangalore at Bal Bhavan. The Greycaps Leadership Guild' 09 was a unique Leadership initiative aimed at providing a platform to school student leaders from Prefects to House captains to participate in a transformational summit that would kindle their minds and also allow them to mould their leadership potential.
The event saw a participation of 340 students from 31 schools across Bangalore.
We had three eminent speakers who addressed the students on various facets of leadership.
• Mr. Ramesh Jude Thomas (President and CKO, Equitor Consulting) who spoke to the students about the importance of Failure and why it is necessary to get up every time a person faces "failure".
• Quizmaster Giri "Pickbrain "Balasubramaniam (CEO, Greycaps) who addressed the students on the finer nuances of success and team spirit required to become a leader.
• Mr. Shravan Shetty ( AGM - Human Capital Development ,Greycaps) who spoke of the attributes and Habits a leader should inculcate and illustrated some of the key attributes through examples of present day leaders.
