Dr. Nirmala Krishnan wins the School Leadership Awards
Dr. Nirmala Krishnan, who currently heads Shrishti Group of Schools, Vellore, is the recipient of the School Leadership Awards, 2017. She received the award for her work of leadership, that brought transformation in the learning culture of Mahindra World School, Chengalpet, Tamil Nadu. She received the School Leadership Awards in the ‘National Winner – Rural’ category, from Mr. N.R. Narayana Murthy, Founder of Infosys.School Leadership Awards, by the Advaith Foundation, provides a platform to recognise fundamental transformation in the learning cultures of schools, and in the teaching profession. The Awards recognise school leaders who initiate innovative practices towards creating a better learning environment. Of the 600 applications received, 8 winners were shortlisted. The winners were given a certificate and cash prize.
The award ceremony was held on 4th October, 2017, at the Leela Palace hotel, Bengaluru. Hearty congratulations from theteacher.in to Dr. Nirmala Krishnan and all the other winners!
